February 2016 IndyASQ Event – User Experience Design as a Tool to Reduce Mistakes

Meeting Date: February 9, 2016

Reminder that the Indianapolis ASQ Section will not host an event in January in honor of our winter break. We will host our next event on February 9, at the University of Indianapolis. A preview of the February event is shown below, with registration details to follow soon. We look forward to seeing you all in February!

February 2016 Event Description:
People Make Mistakes! After all, we are only human. Imperfect.

Have you ever pressed the wrong key at the wrong time, resulting in loss of data, or time, or even creating a bigger problem! Mistakes can cost money and time. Mistakes can make life unpleasant. Mistakes can make actions dangerous and be deadly. Rather than being an “accident waiting to happen,” there are techniques that can be used to anticipate problems BEFORE they occur.

If we know how people tend to respond under the proposed circumstances, we can develop processes, tools, and other solutions that work well for humans. GravityDrive knows how to learn from the people who will perform a service or use a product. We can anticipate many of the problems that are likely to occur, and help to provide solution that will prevent many problems. We would like to engage you in a process that will show you how you might learn from your employees or your customers.Register Now
