The fundamental governing document of the Indianapolis Section of the American Society for Quality is the Section Operating Agreement. This document is an agreement between the Section and the American Society for Quality (National organization” that acts as a charter for the section as an affiliate of ASQ.

The requirements for the Indianapolis Section to remain an ASQ Section in good standing are set forth in the ASQ Section Maintenance Policy, S02.00. A copy of this document may be downloaded by clicking the Section Maintenance Policy link below.
In addition to the SOA, the Section Leadership Committee is empowered by the SOA to adopt local policies as appropriate, so long as they do not conflict with the Section Operating Agreement and Section Maintenance Policy.
