For the fall of 2006, the IndyASQ Education Committee will be offering classes to help people to prepare for the ASQ professional certification exams on Dec. 2, 2006.

We expect that all the courses will meet at the U. of Indianapolis. When available, we will post the exact classroom

Course 1206A is an introduction to ASQ professional certifications and how you can prepare yourself. You can get your questions answered. We will not charge a fee for this session. If you are thinking about taking an exam on Dec. 2, come talk with us on Sept. 28. You might meet a study buddy!

Courses 1206B through 1206H focus upon broadly applicable areas of the Quality Body of Knowledge. We divided the Body of Knowledge up this way so that you can take only the courses that you feel like you need. If you are already strong in a certain section of the Body of Knowledge, then review that section on your own. If you want a professional review, then take that particular course.

The courses are offered in two ways. You can sign up for the class in an ala carte fashion, just choosing the areas that you need to refresh or as a packaged that is related to your certification. Choosing the package will enroll you in each of the individual courses that are applicable to the Body of Knowledge.

The following list indicates which courses may be particularly applicable to specific certifications (more details on Sept. 28, in course 1206A):

• 1206A: All
• 1206B: QA, QE, QPA, SSGB
• 1206C: CT, QE, QPA, SSGB
• 1206D: QE, QIA, QPA, SSGB
• 1206E: CT, QA, QE, QIA, QPA, SSGB
• 1206F: QA, QE, QPA, SSGB
• 1206G: CT, QE
• 1206H: QA, QE, QPA

Registration Information

Members may register for classes by mailing the registration form and check or money order to the class coordinator. Unless otherwise specified in the EDUCATION NOTES course announcement, or by arrangement with the coordinator or chairperson:

• Purchase orders or cash will not be accepted
• No class will be cancelled due to lack of enrollment, provided at least one person registers before the deadline.
• Cancellations received less than 5 working days prior to class will be subject to materials, restocking, and postage fees.
• If you decide to walk in unregistered, and to pay on the day of the class, you are taking a chance.
