A few announcements:
1 – website move is going well. Databases have been migrated, general layout is chosen, content is being crafted. Expect the roll-out and associated training in March. (wow, very soon!)
2 – we have a (an?) webex account now. This doesn’t help me in my sentence structure or proper use of articles, but it will enable us to offer Webinars and support multiple site meetings. I’m excited about that, so I thought I should share. As ever, if you have experience, desire, or (optimally) a combination of both, please let me know so that I can provide you with the information you need to capitalize on this opportunity. (in case that was a little cloudy: WE WANT YOU to help with webinar content. Please.)
3 – February Dinner Meeting Sign up is open. Matt Rowe is the presenter, and I should have the final details shortly. Basic information is the same: U of Indy, 5:30 start, Schwitzer Hall, $10, Cash Only, Park anywhere after 5pm, click here to register (after you sign in, click here again)
4 – How to obtain your Attendance Log from the IndyASQ Website: (also Training History, Meeting Attendance, Recert Points, Recertification Points, and other Key Words you may search for)
Do this: (uh, it REALLY Helps if you can do this in a multi-tab browser, so you can keep this page open,…)
1 – Log in to the IndyASQ Site (your Membership Number, your zip code to which ASQ ships notifications)
2 – Click the Section Member link.
3 – Click the My IndyASQ Profile link.
4 – Click the Attendance Log link.
and, here are the steps with screenshots to hep you out, if you need them: IndyASQ Attendance Log Steps.
Please note: We have had issues with the changing report format from National, which, frankly, we are not interested in adapting to at this time. So, if your Certifications list doesn’t show your latest, we don’t plan to fix that in this version of the website. However, we Specifically Intend to address this in the next edition of the IndyASQ website. As always, www.asq.org, (”National”) has the official certification records. Contact them with questions, if something is amiss on your ASQ Profile.
Regards, and Happy Quality-ing!
