IMPORTANT CSSBB Prep Course CORRECTION 

The article on page two of the November Section Newsletter asked you to contact Tom Pearson to express interest in the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Preparation Course in Indianapolis scheduled to begin January 17, 2004. Please note that the email address listed for Tom was not correct and you should (re)contact Tom at tpc@reciprocalonline.com to insure that proper planning is completed.  

IndySixSIGma Forum Meeting set for December 9, 2003. 

The next IndySixSIGma Forum meeting will be held following the December 9, 2003 Dinner Meeting at approximately 7:45pm. Check the December Section Newsletter for meeting details. There will be user presentations about Six Sigma at both Pharmaceutical Delivery Systems and Delphi, as well a short planning session to discuss your areas of interest for future meetings. The entire session will be no more than 45 minutes. Please plan to attend for an update on Six Sigma activities in the Indy area. 

One day Six Sigma Overview Course scheduled for December 13, 2003 

A one day Six Sigma Overview course has been scheduled for December 13, 2003. This course provides a broad general overview of Six Sigma for those who are considering a Six Sigma initiative. Business decision makers or those who just want to know more about this popular business improvement initiative should attend. One day Process Modeling course set for March 13, 2004.  

Business Process Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization tools are gaining favor with many Six Sigma and Business Improvement efforts. This course provides an introduction to process modeling, simulation, and optimization methods for those who must plan, manage, and improve complex business processes. Applications to Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma for both transactional and traditional manufacturing will be addressed.
