Section Management Program
The Section Management Program (SMP) was developed to assist Sections in planning and implementing services and programs that will meet the needs of their current and future members. It is simply a tool that assists Sections in developing a management plan that is in alignment with the Society’s objectives.
These objectives include achieving the following: Our members best resource for achieving professional and organizational excellence; A worldwide provider of information and learning opportunities related to quality; The leader in operational excellence and delivering customer value; The recognized leader worldwide for advancing individual and organizational performance excellence.
SMP also provides a data collection mechanism that allows for sharing of best practices. Finally, SMP encourages Sections to continually measure, address and improve customer satisfaction by incremental improvements based on Section’s own goals and objectives.
