Quality Assurance and Software Testing in an SAAS World
 
In this meeting, our speaker will take us into the world of software quality assurance at a large technology based company.  She will share the dynamics of SQA team foundation, release models, tools, team building exercises and success stories.  There are certain key factors that make her SQA team successful as they adapt to the ever changing world of technology.  Having a SAAS (Software as a Service) model, it is critical that they be able to adapt and remain flexible to support their clients.  Sherry will show us some techniques to help re-energize teams and put them on a path toward a high level of success!
 
Biography:
 
Being in the IT industry for twenty years, Sherry J. Reed has worked as a Software Engineer, Project Manager, SQA Manager and SQA Director.  Sherry is a Certified Software Quality Analyst and specializes in building quality assurance teams from the bottom up while staying focused on organizational challenges.  Her expert knowledge includes risk based analysis, test management, agile testing and effective team building strategies.  Ms. Reed has had the opportunity of establishing the Indianapolis Quality Assurance Association Inc. and hosted several Quality Assurance Conferences.  In addition, Sherry has been affiliated with Agile Alliance, SIMS, CQAA and QAI.  Currently, she is the SQA Director for ExactTarget in Indianapolis.
